Welcome to the blog for Odyssey Overland's 2013 Istanbul to Darwin expedition.
In just 60 days, 22 excited people will meet up with their equally excited crew in Istanbul ready to embark upon an epic journey through some truly incredible parts of the world. For many, this expedition has been years in the planning, and now we are in the final 8 weeks or so the preparations really step up a notch - visa applications, vaccinations, finalising insurance, packing (and repacking when it doesn't fit the first time) - it is all part of the fun!
There won't be much to update you on until everyone heads off in mid-April, but after then, this is the place to come to find out what the expedition has been up to, hear some great stories and see some amazing photos of their time on the road.
